Fri., March 6 | 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Members, be the first to experience the national premiere of an innovative new science exhibition on cancer – exploring groundbreaking research, advanced medical technologies, and promising new therapies.

Blood Drive

Thurs., March 12 | 1:30 pm – 4:15 pm
Join the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center’s lifesaving effort through blood donation. Your donated blood can help patients regain strength during cancer treatments, surgeries, and traumatic injuries. 

UT Brain Night

Thurs., March 12 | 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Get ready for a night of mind-blowing fun for the whole family! UT Brain Night is your chance to explore the amazing world inside your head through exciting, hands-on activities that make learning about science an unforgettable adventure.

SCI Café: Where Science & Communities Interact

Sat., March 14 | 11:00 am – 12:00 pm
Join UTMB’s Institute for Translational Sciences (ITS) and the Greater Gulf Coast Translational Science Alliance (GGCTSA), in collaboration with the Gulf Coast Center for Precision Environmental Health (GC-CPEH), for a compelling conversation on The Toxic Truth: Southeast Texas Poison Control Center.

Doc Talk

Thurs., March 26 | 12:00 pm – 1:15 pm
Please join a conversation with Dr. Melanie Mouzoon for an introduction to infections, immunity, and immunizations. This event is free to attend with an RSVP.

Recuerdos De Mi Abuelo

Únase al Museo de la Salud para un programa matutino especial que presenta Recuerdos de mi Abuelo, una minitelenovela creada para generar conversación sobre la demencia en las comunidades latinas.

Girl Scout Overnight: First Aid – March 27

Fri. – Sat., March 27-28 | 5:30 pm – 8:00 am
Experience an all-inclusive night at the museum! Girl Scouts will learn essential first aid skills. This event is recommended for Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors.

Cub Scout Overnight: First Aid

Fri. – Sat., April 24-25 | 5:30 pm – 8:00 am
Experience The Health Museum after dark with exclusive access, badge work, a demo organ dissection, late-night labs, and a morning celebration! This event is recommended for Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos, and AOLs.

Girl Scout Overnight: First Aid – May 1

Fri. – Sat., May 1-2 | 5:30 pm – 8:00 am
Experience an all-inclusive night at the museum! Girl Scouts will learn essential first aid skills. This event is recommended for Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors.

Doc Dissections

Now through May, 2026
Get in touch with your inner scientist and dissect an organ under expert guidance from a doctor and a museum science educator. Explore the wonders of organ anatomy like never before and learn the ways to keep a healthy body.

Live Organ Dissection Demonstrations

Thursdays | 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Join us every Thursday for a live organ dissection and a fun-filled family game of trivia with a wide range of entertaining questions for all ages. Get your pulse or neurons stimulated with this live experience in the McGovern Theater.
