An Exhibition of Houston Methodist Employee Photography
On view from April 13 to July 27
This satellite presentation brings 15 selected works from Houston Methodist’s full Healing Arts exhibition on view at the Dunn Tower Crosswalk Gallery. Together, these photographs highlight the creativity of Houston Methodist employees, physicians, and volunteers, inviting us to pause and reflect on the beauty found in stillness and the natural world. This selection forms a collective meditation on how art and nature can nurture healing, reflection, and renewal. Each image serves as a reminder of the healing power found in slowing down and observing our natural world.
By sharing this selection at The Health Museum, we extend the experience beyond the hospital walls, offering a moment of calm and connection to all. These photographs echo the heart of Quiet Wonders: to inspire peace, contemplation, and restoration through the quiet details of our natural world.

“The theme Quiet Wonders reflects the peacefulness of the scene—where movement and silence coexist, and nature’s beauty reveals itself without noise.”
John Samson
The Center for Performing Arts Medicine’s (CPAM) Healing Arts Series is an annual photo exhibition project at Houston Methodist. This series promotes health and healing through the beauty, harmony, and eloquence of the arts, and enriches the lives of all those who experience its programs.
The mission of CPAM is to deliver specialized healthcare and wellness education of the highest quality to performing artists, to integrate the fine arts into the hospital environment, and, through interventional research, to harness the effects of the arts in patient care, rehabilitation, and human performance.
