Celebrating National DNA Day: A Day of Inspiration and Discovery

On April 25th, The Health Museum hosted an unforgettable celebration of National DNA Day, bringing together community, education, and hands-on science in an engaging way. The excitement in the air was palpable as children and adults alike participated in various hands-on DNA activities designed to educate and inspire. Each station was filled with interactive experiments that showcased the wonders of genetics, making complex concepts accessible and enjoyable for all.

As the program progressed, guests were treated to goodies and educational materials generously provided by our partners, ensuring that the fun didn’t end when they left the museum. These thoughtful takeaways allowed participants to continue exploring the fascinating world of DNA long after the event concluded.

One of the highlights of the day was a captivating presentation by Adel Sisy, a National STEM Champion, who ignited curiosity and passion for science among attendees. His unique perspective and engaging storytelling left everyone with a sense of wonder and new insights into the world of genetics.
