Experience the Transformative Power of Art, Culture, and Medicine
The Healing Arts Program merges art, science, and wellness, creating a dynamic space where individuals of all ages can engage in healing and self-discovery through creative expression. Rooted in the museum’s mission to empower healthier living, this program invites you to explore the connections between art, culture, and medicine and to experience the profound impact of art on well-being.
Why Healing Arts?
The Healing Arts Program helps to bridge the gap between art and health, fostering mental, emotional, and physical well-being through creative exploration. By participating in these signature projects, you’re not only engaging in art but also in a journey toward personal and community wellness.
Way to Participate
Visit The Health Museum and experience hands-on workshops, inspiring exhibits, join a community project, or volunteer at our events and workshops; there’s a place for everyone.

Creative Studio: Memory on Fabric with Sarah Sudhoff
Sunday, June 8 • 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Explore the healing nature of memory-making through a hands-on photo transfer workshop. Participants will work with personal photographs, transferring images onto fabric—a material that evokes comfort, care, and the intimacy of home. We’ll reflect on how images help us revisit, preserve, and transform our stories.

77 Minutes
77 Minutes is an exhibition featuring still-life photographs and family portraits of those whose lives were devastated by the school shooting at Robb Elementary in Uvalde, Texas.
Join us this Saturday, May 24, for a virtual tribute honoring the 21 lives lost. Event registration is free and open to the public.
