John Arcidiacono has 30 years of senior marketing experience helping companies build awareness and drive revenue. Prior to coming to The Health Museum, he served as Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations for the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and was responsible for all marketing and public relations activities across the institution including advertising, national sponsorships, market/customer research and analytics and media relations. Prior to joining MD Anderson, he was Chief Marketing Officer at Stewart Title, and in addition to being responsible for all marketing activities, served on the Leadership Team, and was a member of the National Sales Council and Crisis Management Team.

John is a native Houstonian and was blessed with four children. His family was forever changed 20 years ago by a fatal car crash when his oldest son, Johnny, lost his life, and his second son, Christopher, sustained a traumatic brain injury. The accident has impacted the family in many ways and drives much of their community service. Currently, John serves on the board of The Institute of Rehabilitation and Research (TIRR) Foundation as Christopher spent time there after the accident, and they are forever committed to this organization’s success. John has always been active in the schools and activities of his children and in the community at large. Most recently he has raised money for various charities including the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Houston Botanic Garden, The Women’s Fund and Bo’s Place to name just a few. John is an active sportsman, marathoner, and cyclist – putting into action the healthy habits the museum promotes.
