The Health Museum is proud to serve as a nonprofit partner at this year’s Bayou City Art Festival.

Join us at the Active Imagination Zone to create cyanotypes, or “blue impressions”. It is an early photographic technique that uses light, UV exposure, and water to form images in rich shades of blue, traditionally used to archive botany and architecture. This activity combines anatomical and botanical imagery to create healing blueprints for reflection and connection.

The Bayou City Art Festival is Houston’s iconic art festival, showcasing the works of 300 artists in 19 different categories. For more information about the festival, please visit bayoucityartfestival.com.
