Girl Scouts Overnight

Register for an unforgettable overnight scout experience at The Health Museum. Girl scouts are required to wear uniforms. Each participant should bring their own sleeping bag, comfortable clothes and toiletries for their overnight stay. Experienced staff who have been screened will deliver a night of activities designed to empower girls for healthy living. Advance registration is required for all scout classes.

Brownies & Juniors

Cost: $50 per scout + $10 dinner option

Staying safe doesn’t mean missing out on fun! Brownies and Juniors will learn to think on their feet and stay safe when emergencies or accidents occur. Your scout will enjoy an exciting overnight visit at the museum as they prepare to survive life’s little surprises and earn an official Girl Scout First Aid badge! Not only will the girls learn about health and fitness and , they will explore the museum and investigate the human body like a real scientist in our DeBakey Cell Lab. Continental Breakfast is included in the registration price. If you did not choose a dinner option then please plan on bringing your own.Scouts will earn two badges which are: first aid and healthy living badge

Brownie and Juniors

Cost: $50 per scout + $10 dinner option

Brownies will get to be mini scientist while Juniors become mini detectives for the night! Your scout will enjoy an exciting overnight visit at the museum as they prepare to discover the power observation or create something that bubbles up! Not only will the girls learn about health and fitness and , they will explore the museum and investigate the human body like a real scientist in our DeBakey Cell Lab. Continental Breakfast is included in the registration price. If you did not choose a dinner option then please plan on bringing your own. Scouts will earn two badges which are: home scientist (brownies)/detective (junior) and healthy living badges in this overnight.

Cadettes and Seniors

Cost: $50 per scout + $10 dinner option

Cadettes and Seniors will attend a fun overnight experience at The Health Museum! Nothing is more important than good health and, as women, we have unique health issues at every stage of our lives. Girls will learn about their health while playing games, build each other up in discussions, and explore the museum at night. Cadettes will earn their Science of Happiness badge and Seniors will earn their Women's Health badge. Both levels will earn their First Aid badge. Dinner is optional (at an extra cost). Breakfast is included in the registration price. If you did not choose a dinner option then please plan on bringing your own.

Chaperone/Parent Ticket:

Cost: $20 chaperones/parents + $10 dinner option.

It is our expectation that the Girl Scout Leaders and parents will learn right along with their scouts during this overnight experience. Although the activities are tailored specifically for Brownies and Juniors, the course instructors are prepared engage participants at multiple levels! Parents and chaperones will witness firsthand their girls learning how to effectively render first aid and apply their knowledge to everyday situations.
